Planning And Designing
And when the first contact with the outer universe is made, one would like to think that mankind played an active and not merely a passive role that we were the discoverers, not the discovered. but rather that he’s apolitical. i believe as a matter of faith that the extension of space travel to the limits of the solar system will probably be accomplished in several decades, perhaps before the end of the century.

Of a whole new age mankind alone has the power to carry out this fundamental change in the universe. my god, thiokol, when do you want me to launch, next april? there’s no reason why, in the next century, it should cost more to go to the moon than it costs to fly around the world today. too many of us have lost the passion and emotion of the remarkable things we’ve done in space. we learned a lot about the moon, but what we really learned was about the earth.
